Flemish singer Snazz has released a new single. Brand New Feeling sounds familiar to the ears of Eurovision Song Contest fans. The song written by Mark Paelinck, Mihai Alexandru and Jamie Winchester competed in the national selections for the Eurovision Song Contest in Romania in 2006 sung by Dora.

Katerine Avgoustakis is this week's second highest newcomer in the Ultratop 50 in Flanders with Treat Me Like A Lady. The second track on the single is her international summer hit Ayo Technology. Teen band Alright also enters the Ultratop. Alexander Rybak left the charts with his Fairytale for the second time.

Some Belgian artists score better abroad than in Belgium. Annemie Coenen aka AnnaGrace knows all about it ever since Ian Van Dahl broke through in America. Ameerah - former Eurosong participant Astrid Roelants - also scores in America. The Sound Of Missing You climbs to nr 8 in the Billboard Hot Dance Airplay chart.

Thanks to his promotion tour in Belgium, this year's Eurovision Song Contest winner Alexander Rybak climbs up the Ultratop 50 single charts again with his winning song Fairytale. Düm Tek Tek, the song performed by Hadise for Turkey, however left the list of 50 most selling singles in Flanders.

Today exactly 25 years ago Belgian singer Ann Christy died. On 7th August 1984 she lost the fight against cancer aged 38. A new compilation album with the most beautiful songs of the singer who represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm in 1975 will be released. The album is called Gelukkig Zijn.

The ringtone of Düm Tek Tek already was a smash hit in Japan. On 5th August Hadise's Eurovision Song Contest entry will also be released on single in Japan. EMI Music Japan released a tv commercial and a Japanese Hadise website to promote the Belgian Turkish singer and make Düm Tek Tek a hit in the Japanse charts.
