Ukraine has won the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm. Australia finished second and Russia third. Bulgaria and Sweden completed the top 5. Belgium won the battle of the Low Countries finishing tenth with Laura Tesoro's What’s The Pressure, one place higher than Douwe Bob from the Netherlands with Slow Down.

15.05.16 . Ukraine beats Australia and Russia in Eurovision 2016
Jamala from Ukraine has won the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song 1944. Jamala finished second with the juries and in de televoting. Australia came second with Dami Im, who won the jury vote and came third in the televoting. Russia with Sergey Lazarev won the televoting, but that wasn't enough for victory due to the fifth place in the jury vote.

Corruption with doping samples at the Olympics in Sochi, violation of holebi rights,... The image of Russia will be Sergey Lazarev's biggest competitor tomorrow.
