29.11.11 . Anggun to Eurovision Song Contest 2012 for France
Anggun Cipta Sasmi will represent France in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, French broadcaster France 3 announced in Le Parisien today. Anggun was in the running last year too, but in the end France 3 selected Amaury Vassili. The French singer Anggun was born in Indonesia.

28.11.11 . Artists Melodifestivalen 2012 in Leksand and Malmö
Last week Swedish broadcaster SVT announced the aritsts for the first two heats of Melodifestivalen 2012. Today, the participants of the third and fourth heat in Leksand and Malmö were presented. Top favourites Danny Saucedo and Charlotte Perrelli both compete in the last heat.

25.11.11 . Lisa Stokke and Anita Lixel song With Love in MGP 2012
Norwegian broadcaster NRK has selected the song With Love, co-written by Australian born TV Brussels presenter and singer Anita Lixel for Melodi Grand Prix 2012, the Norwegian selections for the Eurovision Song Contest in Baku. The song will be performed by musical star Lisa Stokke.

21.11.11 . Artists Melodifestivalen 2012 in Växjö and Göteborg
Swedish broadcaster SVT has announced the artists for the first two heats of Melodifestivalen 2012. The song titles had been revealed earlier. One song - Porselin - has been replaced by Shout It Out to be performed by David Lindgren. All other performers announced earlier.

After Belgium presented Iris as representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, also Serbia and Macedonia announced their candidate for Baku. Serbia sends the runner-up of 2004, Željko Joksimović. Macedonia sends Kaliopi, who didn't survive the audio round of the Eurovision Song Contest in 1996.

Six months after the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf was won by Ell & Niki from Azerbaijan, CNN looks back and forward to the next edition of the contest to be held in Baku, where the construction works for the brand new Baku Crystal Hall with 25.000 seats have already started.

Gohar Gasparyan and Avet Barseghyan will host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Yerevan on 3rd December, Armenian broadcaster AMPTV announced. Junior Eurovision winner Vladimir Arzumanyan and former Armenian Eurovision representative Sirusho will be the guest performers in the show.

Lys Assia, the winner of the very first Eurovision Song Contest in 1956, has been selected for the Swiss national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012. Lys Assia will sing the song C'était Ma Vie, written by Ralph Siegel and Jean Paul Cara. 14 candidates take part in the final on 10th December.

62 songs are left in the running for Malta Eurosong 2012. Among the candidates are the former Maltese Eurovision Song Contest participants Fabrizio Faniello and Ludwig Galea. 24 songs will be selected for the semifinal of Malta Eurosong 2012 to be held on 27th January.
