30.05.12 . Scandinavia: 'No non-democratic countries in Eurovision'
Scandinavia and the United Kingdom have pushed forward new ethics for the European Broadcasting Union, reports Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter. This means that all the participating countries in the Eurovision Song Contest must be democratic, and that dictatorships can not participate.

After the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, the Swedish delegation did not yet reveal where the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 will be held next year. Sweden has won the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song Euphoria. In the final broadcast from the Crystal Hall in Baku, Azerbaijan, Loreen easily defeated her 25 competitors. Loreen is the fifth Swedish winner of the Eurovision Song Contest. Russia finished second, Serbia third.

The EBU has published the voting order that the 42 countries will announce their votes tonight, together with a list of the spokespersons. The voting order has been determined by the results from last night's Jury Final. An algorithm has been created to try and make the voting as exciting as possible.
