01.12.12 . Anastasiya Petryk (Ukraine) wins Junior Eurovision 2012
Anastasiya Petryk from Ukraine has won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Amsterdam. The youngest of all candidates sang the song Nebo and defeated Georgia and Armenia. Enemies Azerbaijan and Armenia refused to give eachother points and Belgium finished fifth with Fabian's Abracadabra.

01.12.12 . Who wins the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012?
Tonight at 20:15 CET the tenth edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest takes place at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam. Candidates from twelve countries compete, one of which Fabian Feyaerts for Belgium. Ralf Mackenbach and co-host Kim-Lian perform during the interval act.

26.11.12 . Sweden: Candidates Melodifestivalen 2013 announced
Swedish broadcaster SVT has revealed the 32 act to compete in the Swedish selections for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013. The Malmö Arena, where the fourth heat of Melodifestivalen takes place, will also host the international competition on 14th, 16th and 18th of May next year.

Tickets for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest are on sale starting from the 26th of November at 10:00 CET. Tickets will be offered to nine shows: two Dress Rehearsals for each Semi-Final and the Grand Final, plus three live broadcasts. See the full schedule of the shows below.

17.10.12 . Anouk to Eurovision Song Contest 2013 for Netherlands
Dutch singer Anouk will represent the Netherlands at the 58th Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden, in May 2013. Anouk confirmed her Eurovision participation today in a video message on her official Facebook page. Dutch broadcaster TROS reconfirmed the news a bit later.

Swedish broadcaster SVT and the European Broadcasting Union have announced the host city of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013. Not the capital city Stockholm but Malmö, the third biggest city of Sweden, will host the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in the Malmö Arena.

The EBU has revealed the split results of the televoting and the professional juries in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012. The viewers and the juries agreed on the victory of Loreen from Sweden with the song Euphoria, but disagreed a lot on the results of many of the other candidates. Watch the split results here.

30.05.12 . Scandinavia: 'No non-democratic countries in Eurovision'
Scandinavia and the United Kingdom have pushed forward new ethics for the European Broadcasting Union, reports Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter. This means that all the participating countries in the Eurovision Song Contest must be democratic, and that dictatorships can not participate.

After the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, the Swedish delegation did not yet reveal where the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 will be held next year. However, the Friends Arena (also known as the Swedbank Arena) in Solna, just north of Stockholm city, will probably be the most logical choice.
