The live broadcast of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with Jill & Lauren attracted much less viewers on Eén than last year. 655.365 tuned in, good for a market share of 28,25%. Last year when Belgium was represented by Laura Omloop 901.489 viewers followed the show, good for a market share of 41,80%!

165 candidates are already bidding for representing Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 on Akamusic. Five of them have already qualified for the national final: Léa Clément with Où S'en Vont Nos Rêves?, Syla K. with Simple Love, Hélène with Our Home, Steve Linden with C'est La Musique and The Blazing with Our Way.

Laura Omloop, the winner of Junior Eurosong 2009, announced the combined results of the Belgian professional jury and the sms and televoting tonight. The Belgian professional jury was composed of Bab, Els Germonpré, Caren Meynen, Patrick Hamilton, Cliff Vrancken and Jelle Cleymans.

Will Jill & Lauren score better tonight with their song Get Up! than Laura Omloop did last year in Kiev with Zo Verliefd (Yodelo)? This morning Jill & Lauren and their dancers Jasper Cocquyt, Louis Heeren, Jasper Drumont and Nathan Pruvoost rehearsed the Belgian entry for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 Get Up! for the second time in the Minsk Arena. After the disappointing result of Trust in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam, VRT continues with a new edition of Junior Eurosong one year later. It's Flanders' turn again in 2006 to select the Belgian representative for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. On Monday morning the Belgian delegation was introduced to the Minsk Arena, where the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 will be held on Saturday.
