Wednesday 30th September is a first major deadline in the Belgian preparations for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. The material submitted for Eurosong 2010 will give public broadcaster a clearer idea of which direction to go with the selections. Meanwhile more and more candidates for Oslo show up in the press.

On 3, 4, 5, 10, 11 and 12 December Kate Ryan performs at Julgalan 2009 in the Swedish capital Stockholm. During the annual series of concerts in Globen the public is treated with a Christmas buffet, a spectacular show, an after-party and many Swedish Glögg. Linda Bengtzing EMD are among the other performers.

505.994 viewers tuned in for the final of Junior Eurosong 2009 won by Laura Omloop with the song Zo Verliefd. The show broadcast on Eén scored a market share of 25,20%. Last year when Oliver won, 623.553 viewers tuned in for the final of Junior Eurosong 2008, good for a market share of 29,80%.

Laura Omloop from Berlaar, the youngest of all participants, has won the final of Junior Eurosong 2009 with the yodel version of her song Zo Verliefd. In the final of the Belgian selections for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009 Laura defeated her five competitors T&T, Manou, Sepp 'n Sigi and Tune.

Tonight the viewers of Eén decide who'll represent Belgium in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009 to be held in Kyiv on 21st November. The six finalists bring the long version of their song for the first time. Along with their coaches, the juniors will also perform a hit medley. These are the six finalists!

In the second heat of Junior Eurosong 2009 Sepp 'n Sigi Hendrix and Thomas Cerpentier qualified for the final. In the first heat of Junior Eurosong 2009 Tim Tielemans and Thomas Van Achteren from T&T and Manou Maerten qualified for the final. 449.780 followed the third heat of Junior Eurosong 2009 last Saturday, approximately 50.000 more than for the first heat, but around 100.000 less than for the second heat. With a market share of 23,50% Junior Eurosong 2009 became the fifth most watched tv show on 20th September.
