Last summer Europe sang along to the winning song of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, Satellite by Lena Meyer-Landrut. Lena, who represented her country for the second time this year with Taken By A Stranger, is still without a hit this summer. Meanwhile, Belgian Kato scores with The Joker, originally written for... Lena!

Evelyn, Naomi, Seppe, Alexandra, Ciska, Flor, Femke and Vince, the eight finalists of Junior Eurosong 2011, each wrote a new song together with some of the best Belgian songwriters. The video clips of all these songs will be broadcast on Ketnet starting 1st July but can already be seen online here on www.ketnet.be.

This morning Kristien Maes presented the eight finalists of Junior Eurosong 2011 on Ketnet King Size. The eight kids bidding to represent Belgium in Junior Eurovision 2011 are Alexandra, Vincent-Laurens (Vince), Ciska, Seppe, Evelyn, Flor, Femke and Naomi. Together they recorded the group song Kei! Vet! Cool!.

The Romeo's want to represent Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku. However, the chance that VRT is interested in the offer of Chris Van Tongelen, Davy Gilles and Gunther Levi seems small. The Toppers, of which The Romeo's are the Flemish copy, flopped for the Netherlands two years ago in Moscow.

Kevin Kayirangwa is the new Idol in Flanders. Kevin defeated Kato Callebaut in the final of Idols 2011 and wins the record deal of Sony Music and the concert in the Lotto Arena in Antwerp on 25th June. She's Got Moves is the first single of Kevin. Kato's Idols 2011 single was called The Joker.

Does Kate Ryan intend to represent Belgium for the second time in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku? On Facebook she asked her fans the question whether she should take part again and they all answered 'yes'. In 2006 Kate Ryan finished twelfth in the semifinal in Athens with the song Je T'Adore.

Maureen Louys revealed the points of the Belgian professional jury and televoting. The '12 points' from Belgium went to Amaury Vassili from France with the song Sognu, 10 points went to Hotel FM from Romania with Change and 8 points to Loukas Giorkas ft Stereo Mike from Greece with Watch My Dance.
