The final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 which was broadcast last Saturday night was a real success. On average, there were 1.322.872 Flemish viewers glued to the screen to watch a Belgian candidate in the international final of the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time since 2004.

The final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 was the most watched program in Belgium on Saturday 29th May with 1.322.872 viewers on average, or 58% market share. The number of viewers reached a first peak during the performance of Tom Dice. 1.522.000 viewers were watching when Tom sang the song Me And My Guitar in the Telenor Arena in Oslo.

But the highlight came during the voting at 0:09, just before Lena Meyer-Landrut from Germany was declared the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song Satellite. Then 1.743.000 or 85,3 percent of the Flemish television viewers watched the live broadcast of the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 on Eén.
