Fourteen countries will compete in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Minsk on 20th November. Russia was the first country to select a song in the beginning of June. Jessy Matador, the French representative of the most recent Eurovision Song Contest held in Oslo, has a follow-up single for his Eurovision summer hit Allez Ola Olé. Bomba is the new song of the singer from Congo. The video clip for the new single of Jessy Matador can be seen below.

On Saturday 20th November the eighth edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest takes place in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, with fourteen participating countries. During his promotion tour in Germany Tom Dice performed in the tv show ARD Morgenmagazin on Das Erste. Tom Dice sang Bleeding Love, the cover of Leona Lewis he performed in X Factor and released as his first single in Belgium. Germany gave 12 points to Tom Dice in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010.

Lena Meyer-Landrut, the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2010, visited Belgium on Tuesday to promote her first album My Cassette Player. The 19 year-old German singer gave interviews on Q-Music, MNM and JoeFM and with Evy Gruyaert for an interview that was aired in De Rode Loper on Eén.

In 2011 Belgium celebrates the 25th anniversary of the victory of Sandra Kim in the Eurovision Song Contest. Under the motto 'You're retired sooner than you think' the now 37-year-old Sandra Kim recorded an exact copy of the video clip of her song J'aime La Vie with the support of insurance company Delta Lloyd.

Nelson Morais, finalist of Eurosong 2008 with When I Can't Find Love, is scoring a new hit with the song She's Gone. The video clip of She's Gone features Edyta Herbuś, the Polish celebrity who won the first edition of the Eurovision Dance Contest in 2008 together with Marcin Mroczek.

Lena Meyer-Landrut releases her new single Touch A New Day on 6th August. For the song that could already be found on My Cassette Player, the debut album of the German winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2010, a video clip was recorded. Watch the clip of Touch A New Day below.

According to the 3JS, Tom Dice and Lena Meyer-Landrut have proven this year that the Eurovision Song Contest is about song quality again. Together with the invitation of Dutch broadcaster TROS, it was the reason for accepting to represent the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011.

Belarusian broadcaster BTRC has revealed the first images of the stage of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 to be held in the Minsk Arena in Minsk. The stage will be dominated by five eight-meter constructions in the shape of wings, designed by Ulf Mårtensson, stage designer, and Bo Wahlberg, technical director.
